IDEA

This fun and offbeat Domino’s commercial reimagines the brand’s iconic 30-minute delivery guarantee with a simple question: What can you do in 30 minutes? The spot follows a man who, while waiting for his pizza, decides to master the bizarre art of speaking backward. Through a humorous montage, we see his dedication pay off—just as the doorbell rings, he greets the delivery driver in fluent reverse, complete with a backward clap. The ad offers a fresh, playful take on how Domino’s delivers fast—and how the anticipation can become part of the experience.

ROLE

Collaborating with a copywriter, we led the concept development and creative execution of the spot. From pitch to final cut, we ensured the tone stayed clever, surprising, and on-brand, and worked with post-production to nail the visual and audio effects that made the backward language gag both funny and believable.

 

RESULTS

The campaign quickly gained traction online, generating over 4 million views in its first two weeks and boosting Domino’s brand engagement across social channels. It also earned praise for its originality, helping Domino’s stand out in a crowded QSR advertising space while reinforcing the reliability of its 30-minute delivery promise.
